Bio

Andrew Lindsay is a broadcaster and lecturer with nearly two decades of experience as a journalist.

Starting on local newspapers, he spent eight years as a television reporter with ITV before moving to the BBC in 2012.

As a freelance, he is a regular on the BBC’s network and international radio and television platforms.

He is also the television lead for the MA Journalism programme at the University of Salford, based at Media City.

His postgraduate certificate of academic practice – gained in 2017 – is his second postgraduate qualification, adding to a Distinction gained at the prestigious Centre for Journalism Studies at Cardiff University.

His hobbies include writing television scripts and learning Italian.
